![]() ![]() Firyubin, Soviet Deputy Foreign Minister, and top Indian leaders in Delhi this week were held under Article IX of the treaty which enjoined consultations in the event of any threat of attack and also denial of aid to the nation causing the threat. THE Indo-Soviet Friendship Treaty of August 9 boosted the forlorn Indian psyche and led to the thought that this country was not entirely friendless.
